Serving Our Community, Building Bridges Across Cultures

The Turkish American Society of Chicago (TASC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in Illinois in 1997. For nearly three decades, TASC has been dedicated to strengthening communities through cultural, educational, interfaith, charitable, literary, sports, and social programs.

Our work is centered on creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to connect, learn, and engage with one another. Through community-based programs and initiatives, TASC promotes mutual understanding, cultural awareness, and positive relationships across diverse backgrounds.

Our Mission

TASC’s mission is built around two core commitments:

1. Supporting the Turkish-American Community
To support the Turkish-American community in the greater Chicago area by encouraging civic engagement, community participation, and successful integration into the broader society.

2. Promoting Cultural Understanding
To introduce and share Turkish culture with the wider community while fostering friendship, dialogue, and mutual understanding among people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
